These may be\nmedicines taken by mouth or given by injection such as insulin.\nEmpatect works by blocking the SGLT2 protein in your kidneys. This causes blood sugar (glucose) to\nbe removed in your urine. There by Empatect lowers the amount of sugar in your blood.\nThis medicine can also help prevent heart disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.\nIt is important that you continue with your diet and exercise plan as told by your doctor, pharmacist or\nnurse.\nHeart failure\n•Empatect is used to treat heart failure in adult patients with symptoms due to impaired heart\nfunction.\nChronic kidney disease\n•Empatect is used to treat chronic kidney disease in adult patients.\nWhat is type 2 diabetes?\nType 2 diabetes is a disease that comes from both your genes and your lifestyle. If you have type 2\ndiabetes, your pancreas does not make enough insulin to control the level of glucose in your blood,\nand your body is unable to use its own insulin effectively. This results in high levels of glucose in your\nblood which can lead to medical problems like heart disease, kidney disease, blindness, and poor\ncirculation in your limbs.\nWhat is heart failure?\nHeart failure occurs when the heart is too weak or stiff and cannot work properly. This can lead to\nserious medical problems and need for hospital care. The most common symptoms of heart failure are\nfeeling breathless, feeling tired or very tired all the time, and ankle swelling.\nEmpatect helps protect your heart from getting weaker and improves your symptoms.\nWhat is chronic kidney disease?\nChronic kidney disease is a long-term condition. It might be caused by other diseases such as diabetes\nand high blood pressure or even by your own immune system attacking the kidneys. When you have\nchronic kidney disease, your kidneys may gradually lose their ability to clean and filter the blood\nproperly. This can lead to serious medical problems such as swollen legs, heart failure or need for\nhospital care.\nEmpatect helps protect your kidneys from losing their function.\n2. What you need to know before you take Empatect\nDo not take Empatect\n• if you are allergic to empagliflozin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in\nsection 6).\nWarnings and precautions\nContact a doctor or the nearest hospital straight away:\nKetoacidosis\n• if you experience rapid weight loss, feeling sick or being sick, stomach pain, excessive thirst,\nfast and deep breathing, confusion, unusual sleepiness or tiredness, a sweet smell to your breath,\na sweet or metallic taste in your mouth, or a different odour to your urine or sweat, contact a\ndoctor or the nearest hospital straight away. These symptoms could be a sign of “ketoacidosis”\n– a serious, sometimes life-threatening problem you can get because of increased levels of\n“ketone bodies” in your urine or blood, seen in tests. The risk of developing ketoacidosis may\nbe increased with prolonged fasting, excessive alcohol consumption, dehydration, sudden\nreductions in insulin dose, or a higher need of insulin due to major surgery or serious illness.\nIf you suspect you have ketoacidosis, contact a doctor or the nearest hospital straight away and stop\ntaking this medicine until further advice from your doctor.\nTalk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before taking this medicine, and during treatment:\n• if you have “type 1 diabetes”. This type usually starts when you are young and your body does\nnot produce any insulin. You should not take Empatect if you have type 1 diabetes.\n• if you have serious kidney problems – your doctor may limit your dose to 10 mg once a day or\nask you to take a different medicine (see also section 3, ‘How to take Empatect’).\n• if you have serious liver problems – your doctor may ask you to take a different medicine.\n• might be at risk of dehydration, for example:\no if you are being sick, have diarrhoea or fever, or if you are not able to eat or drink\no if you are taking medicines that increase urine production [diuretics] or lower blood\npressure\no if you are 75 years old or older.\nPossible side effects\nLike all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\nContact a doctor or the nearest hospital straight away if you have any of the following side\neffects:\nSevere a", "price": 356.0, "discountamount": 60.0, "currencycode": "INR", "priority": 1000000, "isfreeshipmentavailable": false, "shipmentduration": 0, "_keywords": null, "isarchived": false, "isavailable": true, "applicationid": null, "productindex": 21, "imageuri": "https://bizimages.withfloats.com/actual/0c72c631d4b447c989f384a55959e686.jpg", "tileimageuri": "https://bizimages.withfloats.com/actual/0c72c631d4b447c989f384a55959e686.jpg", "images": [ { "imageuri": "https://fpimages.withfloats.com/actual/67d400055214757ab17ecdfe.jpeg", "tileimageuri": "https://fpimages.withfloats.com/actual/67d400055214757ab17ecdfe.jpeg" }, { "imageuri": "https://fpimages.withfloats.com/actual/67d3fffc2b2df9d0c0e14c94.jpeg", "tileimageuri": "https://fpimages.withfloats.com/actual/67d3fffc2b2df9d0c0e14c94.jpeg" } ], "totalqueries": 0, "gpid": null, "groupproductid": null, "createdon": "2025-03-14T10:12:00.836Z", "updatedon": "2025-09-16T09:04:44.905Z", "buyonlinelink": null, "producturl": "https://WWW.PROTECTLIFESCIENCES.IN/products/empatect-tablet/21", "availableunits": -1.0, "iscodavailable": false, "isprepaidonlineavailable": true, "maxcodorders": 0, "maxprepaidonlineorders": 0, "uniquepaymenturl": null, "brandname": "", "category": "Anti Daibetic", "tags": [ "Empatect tablet", "EMPATECT TABLET", "empagliflozin Ttablet", "empagliflozin best brand", "empagliflozin metformin tablet", "empagliflozin most selling brand", "India first empagliflozinbrand" ], "variants": false, "keyspecification": null, "otherspecifications": null, "pickupaddressreferenceid": null, "paymenttype": "AssuredPurchase", "producttype": "products", "hsncode": "", "gstslab": 12.0, "isnotforsale": false }, { "_id": "67d02b2ce937b03920fa429d", "fptag": "PROTECTLIFESCIENCESPHARMACEUTI6F15", "merchantname": null, "customwidgets": null, "externalsourceid": null, "name": "Prognex fort ", "description": "Sulbactam/Cefoperazone 1:1 and 1:2 (1.5gm & 3gm Injection)\n QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION Sulbactam sodium I.P./cefoperazone sodium I.P. combination is available as a dry powder for reconstitution in a 1:1 and 1:2 ratio in terms of free Sulbactam /Cefoperazone Sulbactam sodium I.P. is a derivative of the basic penicillin nucleus. It is an irreversible beta-lactamase inhibitor for parenteral use only. Chemically it is sodium penicillinate sulfone. It contains 92 mg sodium (4 mEq) per gram. Sulbactam is an off-white crystalline powder which is highly soluble in water. The molecular weight is 255.22. Cefoperazone sodium I.P. is a semisynthetic broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic for parenteral use only. It contains 34 mg sodium (1.5 mEq) per gram. Cefoperazone is a white crystalline powder which is freely soluble in water. The molecular weight is 667.65. List of Excipients None\n DOSAGE FORM AND STRENGTH Vials of the 1:1 product contain the equivalent of 500 mg + 500 mg and 1000 mg + 1000 mg of sulbactam and cefoperazone, respectively. Vials of the 1:2 product contain the equivalent of 500 mg + 1000 mg and 1000 mg + 2000 mg of sulbactam and cefoperazone, respectively\nTherapeutic Indications Mono-therapy Sulbactam/cefoperazone is indicated for the treatment of the following infections when caused by susceptible organisms: Respiratory Tract Infections Urinary Tract Infections (Upper and Lower) Intra-abdominal Infections Septicemia Meningitis Skin and Soft Tissue Infections Bone and Joint Infections Endometritis Other Infections of the Genital Tract Magnex Forte 1.5 g and Magnex Forte 3.0 g (Vials of the 1:2 product containing the equivalent of 500 mg + 1000 mg and 1000 mg + 2000 mg of sulbactam and cefoperazone, resp.) are indicated for specific subset of patients (immunocompromised febrile neutropenic cancer patients, bone marrow transplant). Concomitant Use Because of the broad-spectrum of activity of sulbactam/cefoperazone, most infections can be treated adequately with this antibiotic alone. However, sulbactam/cefoperazone may be used concomitantly with other antibiotics if such combinations are indicated. If an aminoglycoside is used (see section 8.1 Incompatibilities, Aminoglycosides), renal function should be monitored during the course of therapy (see section \n Posology and Method of Administration, Use in Renal Dysfunction). 4.2 Posology and Method of Administration Sulbactam/Cefoperazone (sulbactam sodium/cefoperazone sodium combination) is available in bottles for parenteral use only. The combination sulbactam sodium/cefoperazone sodium, is available as a dry powder for reconstitution in a 1:1 and 1:2 ratio in terms of free sulbactam and cefoperazone. Vials with a 1:1 ratio contain the equivalent of 500 mg + 500 mg and 1000 mg + 1000 mg of sulbactam and cefoperazone, respectively. Vials with a 1:2 ratio contain the equivalent of 500 mg + 1000 mg and 1000 mg + 2000 mg of sulbactam and cefoperazone, respectively.\nIntravenous Administration For intermittent infusion, each vial of sulbactam/cefoperazone should be reconstituted with the appropriate amount (see section 8.4 Storage and Handling Instructions, Reconstitution) of 5% Dextrose in Water, 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection or Sterile Water for Injection and then diluted to 20 ml with the same solution followed by administration over 15 to 60 minutes. Lactated Ringer’s Solution is a suitable vehicle for intravenous infusion, however, not for initial reconstitution (see section 8.1 Incompatibilities, Lactated Ringer’s Solution and section 8.4 Storage and Handling Instructions, Lactated Ringer’s Solution). For intravenous injection, each vial should be reconstituted as above and administered over a minimum of 3 minutes. Intramuscular Administration Lidocaine HCl 2% is a suitable vehicle for intramuscular administration, however, not for initial reconstitution (see section 8.1 Incompatibilities, Lidocaine and section 8.4 Storage and Handling Instructions, Lidocaine)\nMechanism of Action The anti-bacterial component of sulbactam/cefoperazone is cefoperazone, a third generation cephalosporin, which acts against sensitive organisms during the stage of active multiplication by inhibiting biosynthesis of cell wall mucopeptide. Sulbactam does not possess any useful antibacterial activity, except against Neisseriaceae and Acinetobacter. However, biochemical studies with cell-free bacterial systems have shown it to be an irreversible inhibitor of most important beta-lactamases produced by beta-lactam antibiotic-resistant organisms. The potential for sulbactam's preventing the destruction of penicillins and cephalosporins by resistant organisms was confirmed in whole-organism studies using resistant strains in which sulbactam exhibited marked synergy with penicillins and cephalosporins. As sulbactam also binds with some penicillin binding proteins, sensitive strains are also often rendered more susceptible to sulbactam/cefoperazone than to cefoperazone", "price": 1856.0, "discountamount": 170.0, "currencycode": "INR", "priority": 1000000, "isfreeshipmentavailable": false, "shipmentduration": 0, "_keywords": null, "isarchived": false, "isavailable": true, "applicationid": null, "productindex": 19, "imageuri": "https://bizimages.withfloats.com/actual/b16faef6279f49c8b3c5a11924050c83.jpg", "tileimageuri": "https://bizimages.withfloats.com/actual/b16faef6279f49c8b3c5a11924050c83.jpg", "images": null, "totalqueries": 0, "gpid": null, "groupproductid": null, "createdon": "2025-03-11T12:23:08.237Z", "updatedon": "2025-09-16T09:07:03.4Z", "buyonlinelink": null, "producturl": "https://WWW.PROTECTLIFESCIENCES.IN/products/prognex-fort-/19", "availableunits": -1.0, "iscodavailable": false, "isprepaidonlineavailable": true, "maxcodorders": 0, "maxprepaidonlineorders": 0, "uniquepaymenturl": null, "brandname": "", "category": "Antibiotics", "tags": [ "Prognex fort injection", "inj Prognex fort", "prognex fort 1.5 gm", "cefoperazone sulbactam injection", "@nd genration antibiotics", "Protect prognex fort" ], "variants": false, "keyspecification": null, "otherspecifications": null, "pickupaddressreferenceid": null, "paymenttype": "AssuredPurchase", "producttype": "products", "hsncode": "", "gstslab": 12.0, "isnotforsale": false }, { "_id": "67cd7714d20bc8566b6d6ecf", "fptag": "PROTECTLIFESCIENCESPHARMACEUTI6F15", "merchantname": null, "customwidgets": null, "externalsourceid": null, "name": "suffix capsule", "description": "Ubiquinol the reduced form of coenzyme Q10, has many potential health benefits May help reduce symptoms of mitochondrial disorders, which affect energy production in cells ,\nMay help reduce blood pressure May help reduce blood sugar levels \n\nL-carnitine L-tartrate increases fatty acid oxidation and reduces purine catabolism and free radical formation\n•\tCholine bitartrate is a supplement It may help with cognitive performance in the elderly, It may help with locomotor performance It may reduce oxidative stress\n\nSelenious acid is a selenium compound it helps maintain the health of the heart muscle. \nL-arginine various blow flow issues, erectile dysfunction.\n\nTribulus terrestris increases sperm production & studies of its effects on testosterone levels gave mixed results. It is used for treating acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine such as acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It provides relief from symptoms and promotes healing.\n\nPANTECT 40mg Injection is also used to prevent stress ulcers in seriously ill patients and is administered before anesthetic medication to help prevent aspiration-related complications. It belongs to a class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This medicine is administered into a vein by a healthcare professional and will only be given to you if your doctor thinks that an injection is more suitable for you at the moment than a tablet. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine. Your doctor will decide the duration of treatment but you should keep on taking it as prescribed, even if your symptoms disappear quickly. You can increase the efficiency of the treatment by eating smaller meals more often and avoiding caffeinated drinks (like tea and coffee), and spicy or fatty foods.\n\nThe most common side effects observed with this medicine include nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhea, stomach pain, and thrombophlebitis (pain, redness, and swelling of the vein). These symptoms are generally mild but if they bother you or do not go away, consult your doctor. Long-term use of this medicine may lead to an increased risk of side effects. For instance, using this medicine for more than 1 year may increase your risk for bone fractures, especially with higher doses. Talk to your doctor about ways to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis), like taking calcium and vitamin D supplements.\n\nPANTECT 40mg Injection is not suitable for some people. Before taking this medicine, you need to tell your doctor if you have severe liver problems, are taking medicines for HIV, have ever had an allergic reaction to similar medicines in the past, or suffer from bone loss (osteoporosis). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Avoid drinking alcohol as it makes your stomach produce excessive acid and can worsen your symptoms. Do not drive or use machinery or tools, if this medicine makes you feel dizzy or sleepy.\n________________________________________\nUSES OF PANTECT INJECTION\n•\tAcidity\n•\tGastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux)\n•\tPeptic ulcer disease\n•\tTreatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome\nBENEFITS OF PANTECT INJECTION\nIn Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome\nZollinger-Ellison syndrome is a rare disorder where excessive stomach acid production leads to multiple peptic ulcers. Symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, and heartburn. PANTECT 40mg Injection By reducing the production of stomach acid, it helps alleviate symptoms such as abdominal pain, heartburn, and diarrhea. Esomeprazole also aids in the healing of peptic ulcers, which are common in this condition. By controlling the excessive acid secretion associated with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, esomeprazole helps improve the overall digestive health and prevents complications such as gastrointestinal bleeding.\n________________________________________\nSIDE EFFECTS OF PANTECT INJECTION\nMost side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. DULATECT (anidulafungin) is a semi-synthetic lipopeptide synthesized from a fermentation product of Aspergillus nidulans. Anidulafungin is an echinocandin, a class of antifungal drugs that inhibits the synthesis of 1,3-β-D-glucan, an essential component of fungal cell walls. DULATECT (anidulafungin) is 1-[(4R,5R)-4,5-Dihydroxy-N2 -[[4\"-(pentyloxy)[1,1':4',1\"-terphenyl]- 4-yl]carbonyl]-L-ornithine]echinocandin B. Anidulafungin is a white to off-white powder that is practically insoluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. In addition to the active ingredient, anidulafungin, DULATECT for Injection contains the following inactive ingredients: fructose (50 mg), mannitol (250 mg), polysorbate 80 (125 mg), tartaric acid (5.6 mg), and sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment.\n\nCLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY Pharmacokinetics The pharmacokinetics of anidulafungin following IV administration have been characterized in healthy subjects, special populations and patients. Systemic exposures of anidulafungin are doseproportional and have low intersubject variability \n\nThe pharmacokinetics of anidulafungin following IV administration are characterized by a short distribution half-life (0.5-1 hour) and a volume of distribution of 30-50 L that is similar to total body fluid volume. Anidulafungin is moderately bound to plasma proteins in humans (84%).\n\nExcretion In a single-dose clinical study, radiolabeled (14C) anidulafungin was administered to healthy subjects. Approximately 30% of the administered radioactive dose was eliminated in the feces over 9 days, of which less than 10% was intact drug. Less than 1% of the administered radioactive dose was excreted in the urine. Anidulafungin concentrations fell below the lower limits of quantitation 6 days post-dose. Negligible amounts of drug-derived radioactivity were recovered in blood, urine, and feces 8 weeks post-dose.\n\nMICROBIOLOGY \n\nMechanism of action Anidulafungin is a semi-synthetic echinocandin with antifungal activity. Anidulafungin inhibits glucan synthase, an enzyme present in fungal, but not mammalian cells. However, some recent formulations such as Arikace can be subcutaneously injected or inhaled as aerosols.\nApart from a broadened range of drugs being investigated for liposomal formulations, new strategies such as environmental sensitivity and combination therapy have been applied to the development process to achieve better efficacy.\nLipids, Phospholipids and Liposomes \nLipids are a group of naturally occurring molecules that include fats, waxes, sterols, and fat-soluble vitamins. The main biological functions of lipids include: storing energy, signaling, and acting as structural components of cell membranes. \nPhospholipids are a class of lipids that are a major component of all cell membranes as they can form lipid bilayers. The structure of the phospholipid molecule generally consists of hydrophobic tails and a hydrophilic head. \nA liposome is a spherical vesicle that has at least one lipid bilayer and an aqueous core. The liposome can be used as a vehicle for administration of nutrients and pharmaceutical drugs\nBenefits and Applications\n➢Due to their unique properties, including low cytotoxicity, good biocompatibility and biodegradability, liposomes have wide-ranging applications in different fields including gene and drug delivery, food and nutrition industries and cosmetic industries. \n➢A number of new liposome modification methods have emerged to improve stability and attain higher concentrations of bioactives in the target cells and cellular compartments for maximum therapeutic efficiency. \n➢Active targeting can be achieved via appropriately engineered modifications to the liposomal structure. For active targeting, thermo-labile, pH-sensitive, photo-sensitive and antibody coated vesicles, have been designed.\nPassive targeting is the mechanism by which the bioactive-carrier complex reaches its destination based on the physicochemical properties of bioactive carrier complexes and does not utilize any targeting strategy\nMechanism\n➢A liposome has an aqueous core enveloped by a phospholipid bilayer.\n➢Hydrophilic solutes dissolved in the core cannot readily pass through the bilayer. Hydrophobic chemicals associate with the bilayer via Van der Waals forces.\n➢This makes liposomes versatile and advantageous delivery vehicles as they can be formulated with hydrophobic and/or and hydrophilic cargo. To deliver the molecules to a site of action, the lipid bilayer can fuse with other bilayers such as the cell membrane, thus delivering the liposome contents.\n➢Useful liposomes rarely form spontaneously. They typically develop after supplying enough energy, in the form of sonication, to a dispersion of phospholipids in a polar solvent, such as water, to break down multilamellar aggregates into oligo- or unilamellar bilayer vesicles.\n➢Mechanism of Delivery\n➢By preparing liposomes in a solution of DNA or drugs (which would normally be unable to diffuse through the membrane) they can be (indiscriminately) delivered past the lipid bilayer, but are then typically distributed non-homogeneously.\n➢For drug delivery, liposomes that contain low (or high) pH can be constructed such that dissolved aqueous drugs will be charged in solution (i.e., the pH is outside the drug's pH range).\n➢As the pH naturally neutralizes within the liposome (protons can pass through some membranes), the drug will also be neutralized, allowing it to freely pass through a membrane. These liposome's work to deliver drug by diffusion rather than by direct cell fusion.", "price": 33.0, "discountamount": 0.0, "currencycode": "INR", "priority": 1000000, "isfreeshipmentavailable": false, "shipmentduration": 0, "_keywords": null, "isarchived": false, "isavailable": true, "applicationid": null, "productindex": 4, "imageuri": "https://bizimages.withfloats.com/actual/18b33531b6bf41e194ccf0320b26eeaa.jpg", "tileimageuri": "https://bizimages.withfloats.com/actual/18b33531b6bf41e194ccf0320b26eeaa.jpg", "images": null, "totalqueries": 0, "gpid": null, "groupproductid": null, "createdon": "2025-02-28T05:11:34.219Z", "updatedon": "2025-09-16T09:13:15.857Z", "buyonlinelink": null, "producturl": "https://WWW.PROTECTLIFESCIENCES.IN//feritect-lce-/4", "availableunits": -1.0, "iscodavailable": false, "isprepaidonlineavailable": true, "maxcodorders": 0, "maxprepaidonlineorders": 0, "uniquepaymenturl": null, "brandname": "Protect Life Sciences Pvt Ltd", "category": "LIPOSOMAL IRON SACHET", "tags": [ "liposomal iron sachet", "feritect sachet", "feritect lce iron sachet", "less side effect new iron", "new oral iron in india" ], "variants": false, "keyspecification": null, "otherspecifications": null, "pickupaddressreferenceid": null, "paymenttype": "AssuredPurchase", "producttype": "products", "hsncode": "", "gstslab": 18.0, "isnotforsale": false } ], "hasmoreitems": false, "isapirequest": false, "totalresults": 27, "query": null, "floatingpoint": null }
